Mini-grant

A mini-grant was awarded to Teacher Education professors Drs. Holly Hungerford-Kresser and Kim Ruebel and English professor Dr. James Warren, all from The University of Texas at Arlington.  Their project entitled "College Readiness and Adolescent Literacy: Aligning Standards for Student Success" examined how the CCRS, ELAR TEKS and NCTE standards aligned.   In addition, they worked together to redesign their classes to integrate the College and Career Readiness Standards.  The results of the year-long project can be found below.
